This clip really is an interesting watch that helps you look into the minds of the 30's-40's Americans and just how scared they were of the Nazi regime - To the point where they demonized them for their children so that in the future, they would always be an enemy. Which is unfortunate considering the Nazi regime fell just a few years later, leaving the German people in general to suffer from such stereotyping.

I'm coming from Russia and there were no Russian who's family did not lose anyone in the war. It's been a nightmare for Jewish, handicapped and people to die in gas chambers for what was not their fault. It's good Germany learned over this tragic lesson for other countries and themselves. It's been an unspoken horror for many people. People like my grandmother spent 900 in Leningrad without food and people died. It might be a joke for those that don't remember, not for my family. Never Again!

You are of course right in commenting upon the wrong things Germany did. But I think it's equally important to highlight the Soviet's persecution of Jews and other minorities (even though this might be the wrong place). This lasted for a lot longer as well, and seems to have been forgotten by most people. Of course it is important to remeber what happened under the Nazi regime, but there is no reason to leave the Germans in constant damnation.
