oh, in second grade.. my skinny teacher got pregnant and so we had a sub like the last half of the second semester. mrs mittens replaced mrs milham!
i dont remember what i wore, but the guy i liked wore an orange sweater. hm.
my biggest injury was in second grade too! i flew down this giant hill on a scooter. i wanted to stop, so the smart genes in me told me to put my foot on the ground when i am going SO FAST
so i fell on my face. it was raw for about a month.

I remember we had to learn this big, elaborate square dance routine. I was stuck with this uncordinated fat kid as my partner, and he tripped when we did the routine for the parents, and I remember being totally embarrassed. In retrospect, I feel bad that I didn't pity him more, but he ruined my moment, damn it!

there was a competetion where the second graders wrote what chrismas meant to them. the winner got to read it on the radio! so i handed in my paper to the teacher, and she was like "what about jesus? why dont you put something about it being his birthday?" my family didnt go to church so I was like "ohhh.. jesus.. ok". so yeah.. at least I won!

i was in speech therapy too,except it was for my r's.i still can't say the word world correctly and my pirate still sounds like pilot,lol.what really sucked was that their is an r in my last name,and half the time i couldn't even say my last name right,lol.

When I was in first grade they decided I was too smart so when I was like five years old they moved me into second grade and all I remember is having to take a bunch of tests to get me moved up and being really scared of all the "big" kids in my class.

Second grade was okay, umm not too many crazy memories. I remember that we had two separate second grade classes which was sad, because they split up our big first grade class. BUT, we had an awesome play castle in the corner of our class, and it was so fun to hang out at during breaks and stuff. And I do remember learning cursive and hating it! I just didn't like the look of it for some reason.. P.S. Sorry for posting to all these at once, but it's fun to reminisce :D
