Light-Etherial Electronica music was in Macross Plus, I bought the soundtrack after seeing episode 2's concert scenes.
They stand as works-of-art as music by themselves IMO.

This to me is the gold standard for Macross series that came after the original. Everything else these days, whether CG'd or not doesn't impress me nearly as much because I've already seen it all in Macross Plus.

Actually, the first part of the concert "Santi-u" is sung in ancient hebrew. They wanted something so far away from Japanese and english that it would completely entrance the listener. And it worked.
