This was shot in various locations around the band's hometown of Downpatrick. The main location was up on the mountains of Mourne. Shot over two action packed days that involved transit vans being driven into rivers and waiting four hours for the helicopter to arrive.

well first off, NOBODY can be the new zeppelin. Led Zeppelin was at a level so high that theyre pretty much untouchable by bands who arent The Beatles, Cream, The Stones, Jimi Hendrix Experience, or The Who. SECONDLY, the guitarist is very good. VERY good. you simply dont hear music like this anymore these days, this band is a saving grace for those who thought rock music was dead, its still VERY much alive according to these guys.

It's a far too common assumption that someone who enjoys guitar hero doesnt know how to play the actual instraument. I've been playing GH since 2005, and I've been taking lessons on the guitar for a year now. I'm not that great, but the point is, I love music video games and playing guitar is the most enjoyable hobby I've ever had.

It's terrific that you were introduced to the guitar, no matter how. I think there a lot of folks that have similar stories. Even if just a few stick it out, as you have, then the net result is positive. I don't play the games, but I appreciate their ability to bring the feeling and enjoyment of playing music to the masses.

No their guitarist isn't that good in my opinion he just seems kinda generic.

i dont think rock is dead, not even a little. i just think its been horribly diluted by crap like pop punk and other garbage like that. and trust me, nothing new is probably for the best. for the most part when rock tries to get "new" it usually ends up being some kind of horrid watered down garbage. rock has a distinct sound, and its evolutions should be WITHIN that tone, like elvis -> beatles, beatles -> Cream, Cream -> Led Zeppelin etc.

ye i said since 1985. if my timelines are right they all came out before 85. and Axl just put out one of the worst albums ive ever heard so hes off that list. GNR is on that list though. Axl n Friends is not however.

i think id put the answer about on par with something like Coldplay. although theyre completely different genres, theyre putting out brilliant music. i dunno if you bought Viva La Vida but thats a kickass album. if rock MUST evolve, thats the direction it should take. i didnt pay much attention to them before Viva La Vida but its brilliant.

Sorry but new guns n roses album rules. i was thinking it wasn't that good but on my 3rd or 4th listen it grew on me. he was trapped if he redid appetite or use your illusion then he'd be yelled at for doing the same thing, he chose to update the sound and still people are mad about it... and i really hope rock dosn't move towards coldplay, they're alright but we don't need a bunch of coldplay clones walking around. one of them is more then enough.

im not saying i need another AFD, but if he "owns the gnr name" like he says, he could at least keep it in the same vein of music. its not GNR, its Axl Rose n Friends, if he called the band THAT, then id be very happy, and id say it was a pretty good album. but to call it a GNR album just isnt true. i think thats what threw me on it. if i listen to it as an axl rose solo album i could call it pretty good, but right now its the absoutely worst GNR album i couldve even imagined.
