Gwen said herself that she is very much impressed of this culture, you should look at the lyrics of Harajuku Girls. uhh, this has been around before Gwen Stefani. why else would she say 'Harajuku girls, you've got the wicked style!'?? the style started in the 70's and was underground until Mana from Malice Mizer helped to popularise the look, and owns his own store called Moi meme Moitie. Gwen Stefani just buthchered the look and created 'pseudo Lolita'.
