I've heard my uncle say that most golfers either swing to Draw or Fade the ball... What direction is each and how do I do each?

Ilikeiwetto is right. Most good golfers don't consciously roll their hands over. Like Hogan said, to try and "control the clubface through impact is folly." The club face releases as a natural result of the body driving the arms and arms driving the hands. It is the natural chain reaction Hogan wrote about.
However, the club's a two levered tool and does need to "release," but never think you will play consistent golf simply by using your hands only, you will experience only inconsistency.

the first thing the comentator said was he has a unique move. your right he rolls it open in the takeaway but he didnt roll it shut through the ball. the club is square a long way into his follow through

I do the move and I'm hitting a draw now. The only difference is, I turn my body through the ball and I "feel" as though the back of my lead hand leads the target and it points down at a little above my waist.

This is my exact problem. Im just getting back into the game after not playing for 10 years. I stopped when I was 13, and deffinatly wasnt that good even then. I just shot a 6 over on the front nine at the local golf course. I was taking into consideration my shanks on my drives. You may have just
created an Ace driver. Cant wait to try it out tomorrow, the rollover effect. Thanks again, George

why would you want to roll the 3rd accumulator when you can hit draws without rolling it? this only would produce inconsistencies with contact.

Don't you think the turning of the body creates the release? I would hit a wicked hook if I rotated my hands at and through impact like that. I swing more connected and let the turning of my body (and more importantly shoulders) square my clubface and not my hands and wrists.

club face square becuase you rotate your body. I basically just keep my left wrist flat and keep acceralating through impact. The wrist will unhinge automatically and properly with your body rotation. Just don't put any tension in your hands and arms. If you hit it fat, turn body a bit faster through impact zone (or pull your hand down a bit softer). If you hit it thin, try pull your hand down a bit harder, or slower your body turn. Just my personal fix.

yes my friend it seriously helped my game and i play of an 11, before this tip i could not hit the sweet spot of my long irons the rest is history,take care now.
