I never thought JerryC was that good of a sweeper. His real talents lie in his crazy use of pinch harmonics and the timing he uses them at, as well as his immense creative ability. He is a good composer. I wouldn't say sweep picking is his forte, but he ain't bad at it either.

Huh? "most opinions"? Show me some of them before talking bullshit, and you call yourself a "guitar freak" but cant even recognize an amazing player in every aspect. Just check any of his other songs, a "sucky" guitar player couldnt do even 1% of what he can create in music. You're just a hater. Cheers.

Ive seen your videos, you are good, in fact, you are greatly talented, but just because you can play as good as you do, it doesnt mean you're better than everyone. Honestly, and I think you must know this already, you are not half as good as JerryC (there are many aspects that determine this), but you are still really good.

I see you play a totally different style than this, and Im thinking you're just not a "huge" fan of Jerry's style of playing, but still there's no need to flame him or refuse to give him credits for what he does and what he has created, he practiced several hours a day and shared "blood, sweat and tears" just like you have and any other good guitar player has. There's no need to "degrade" someone like you did on your comment.

first, you are right. he doesnt "suck" like being really bad. there are some vids where he appeared on tv and didnt play soo well.
but he had some good arrangement skills when he did the canon rock.
i just hear from all sides, that he is not really en vogue. as a guitar player who rates his technique, he wont probably have a good rating. BUT he still creates music, and thats what you re talking about and which is totally correct. he does have a certain level as a musician, but.....

btw, i dont think i am a talented guitarist / musician either. im studying music at uni and i see tons of REALLY amazing young virtuosos every day on the internet, so i think there is much more out there than just jerry c and i never wanted to "degrade" him. ...and he gets enough credit i think. :) thx for your honest opinion and i will watch out how i expess myself in the future. =)

and i am not that person, that wants to challenge ppl and do arrogant stuff like that. i even feel a bit like an idiot that i got down on this 15 (!!) years old kids mentally level. but i dont like it, when newbies and laypersons have a too big mouth. i hope you can understand that point.
