i defeinitely prefer his more melodic, poetic style, but thats just preference. the worst thing jehst could do as an artist is bring oout 10 albums that all sound the same. if he did that he'd just be another artist who's first album was the best, and set a standard that he could never live up to. plenty of artists fall under that catagory, the best ones however, re-invent and come out with something new everytime. jehst has done this with every album, thats just how damn go he is!
