Some of us aren't made to conform. You either learn to live with the fact that you're different or you suffer with the fact you'll never be the same as the majority of people. Because even if you pretend to be the same, a lot of times that gets even more rejection than if you are different and who you were meant to be. Regardless, she is more beautiful the way she is.

How brave of her to reveal. I know that I, at that age, had no where NEAR the courage to admit feeling like an outsider. It's interesting to watch Fiona mature over her yrs in the 'biz'... And I just have to brag that she & I were born on the exact same day :) I've always been SO fascinated & proud of it. I know...how silly, who cares, LOTS of people were born that day! Still.
