If that were true (and I don't see any evidence to suggest that it is), it would be the worst misstep the elites have ever made. Ron Paul's candidacy has brought the message of liberty, small government, and voluntary interaction to so many new people that the CFR and other elitist, secretive organizations are now more visible than ever, to a constantly growing number of people who are waking up and getting active. Be optimistic! There's no stopping us now!
