I went through school never telling a soul for in fear what they would think about me .. would they think i was this word GAY and would they make fun of me or would i be different because my dad was gay? I would tell people my parents separated but never exposing why they did. School was hard for me because alot of people hate me for my star like qualities and antics guys would just want me for one reason, girls hated me because guys liked me.. i had very few friends and trusted no one.

Alicia, I wanted to share my superwoman story with you. To really let you see the whole story i have to start at the beginning as a child. I am now 21 i live in Denver always have. My parents separated when i was age 4 after a huge fight and my dad slapping my mom he was gone our family was broken he moved away for 2 yrs and came back with a huge surprise he was gay. Dealing with my parents separation helping raise my baby brother who is now 18 my dad being gay and ( very mentally and emotionally abusive) my mother being addicted to narcotics and meth.. it was too much for a young girl.. i dealt with this intill i couldn't anymore i was 14 when i met Shawn the man i thought was my soul mate ( teenage love affair) he was 21 and sorta like the father figure i never really had

i loved him and at age 15 i left home and my baby brother to move in with him. We were together 5 yrs with so many fights and struggles and people doubting us. I thought he was my soul mate and fought to be with him every step of the way. We went through alot 2gether he help me grow up.. after being put through alot we were up against all odds he purposed and i accepted but 1 day all of my world came crashing down and he stabbed me after five years i couldn't believe it

the 1 person i trusted hurt me.. he was the only 1 at the time who knew bout my dad which what caused the fight he was drunk and called my dad a faggot.. we got into it and he pulled a knife out and stabbed me in the arm.. i told no one in fear of losing my 1st apartment and after a second incident knife to throat i was charged with false reporting my ex walked away clean.. but to this day i don't regret any of it i learned from it and it made me stronger and wiser

My family is counting on me to go to college and graduate. They want me to go to school graduate and become a nurse. I have to finish school for my family because they are counting on me,especially my parents. I cant wait to see the look on their faces when I graduate from college but with tuition out the roof i dont know how that is gonna work. im just trusting God!! very few people in my family are successful and i am looking to break the curse.....I WILL BE SUPERWOMAN for my family!!!!!!!!

im more like super girl cause im too young. I'm 12 and i take care of my blind sister everyday. of course i do have parents. I take care of her wen they are not here. which is usually most of the time working! They work because we need the money bad! so i cant ask for stuff i want coz i feel guilty wen i get it. But i think there are other girls and woman that have more to deal with. And yet im treated respectively and i still dont know why. :( i wish all woman wer respected

I have 3 children going thru a divorce with a full time job and full time student. I think the trials that life has brought upon me has made me stronger. Adversity has built my character and broadened my horizons for my future. Being able to still smile despite all the storms in my life makes me a superwoman. Any woman that can take a stand and handle her own no matter what the situation may be is a superwoman in my book. We as women have come such a long way we need to teach each other better.

EVEN WHEN IM A MESS I STILL PUT ON VEST WITH AN S ON MY CHEST CAUSE IM A SUPER WOMAN every day is a struggle some days I dont know where the food on the table is coming from some days i feel like a failure as a mother cause i cant give my kids what they deserve but through my sweat hard work and stress i put on a smile grin and bare it and make due with what i have and make sure my family is happy even though im dyin inside i make the best of it for there sake cause they didnt ask to be here

I've been a teacher for many years. I've been teaching at one school in South Los Angeles for 20 years. I love my kids! Its a challenge,but a really gratifying experience. My son's death 7 years ago has been the greatest challenge. found out. My administrators, fellow teachers, staff and the children were such a great support to me. Your song "No One" is touching to me. It makes me think of my son. Thank you for your music!!

i am a superwoman... i am a caretaker and a mom of 1. witha boyfriend who has other kids down south. i got the babie mamma drama.... but i still put a face on for show, and wonder at the same time is he goin to do to me wat he did to them.... yea i got to baby mamma here so yea, and i'm the 3rd baby mamma.... but yea i'ma caretaker... it is really easy and yet hard at the same time... b/cuz i work for my father... who is about 70 yrs old.. and he has his grumpy moments takes it out on my family

My kids and I struggled for 9 years. Watching their mother slowly die from Kidney diease I became a Superwoman after recieving my Kidney Transplant. It will be 10 years January 21, 2009. I thank God for making me a strong Superwomen and a surviving Supermom. I am having a big celebration in January. You say you want to sing for Obama. Come sing at my celebration while we registor many donors for my Organ and Tissue Drive the same day.Please come and support my children and I.
