I believe theya re a metal band.The other well known 'emo' band from the UK is Funeral for a Friend; a punk band.
the uneducated listener will often class punk, metal and similar music as 'emo'. I listen to this sort of stuff but I'm anything but emo, infact I'm learning the bagpipes.
