No, you're obviously just a Finkelstein fan. I think the host asked good questions for the most part (he did overdue it on the gangster talk, but I thought it was a valid question as serious historical writers don't use that language). It's no surprise that people like you will dislike the host for coming down hard against this man. His views are very controversial and so should be challenged.

I Finkelstein fan is a bit much but i do appreciate the man's work. It's not like he denies the Holocaust... And it's obvious to me that various Jewish lobby exploit the suffering of the Jews for political gain. For example, some of them are waving the Holocaust when talking about Iran which is ludicrous.

I agree, many of the points he raises are valid, but I think the host does have a point in saying he could have used better language (again I didn't like how the host overdid it on the language issue). More people, especially intellectuals and people on the other side would take him more seriously. It's precisely his strong rhetoric that has led to his tenure being denied.

The host overdid it on the language and style issue because he's trying to avoid talking about the ideas of the book, since everything Finkelstein says is true! he wants the viewer to discredit Finkelstein and that's probably the only thing he can argue about: language! Finkelstein is an honest man who paid dearly for his beliefs, he was denied tenure at DePaul University because of his exposing the truth!

I remember several years ago Coren's main advertizer was a auto sales financial agency...not quite a dealership. Coren did the ads himself...talking about honourable nice guys etc...
