Actually she didn't have a double. If you watch any of the interviews with the producers or her about the making of the movie, you'll find out that she took weeks of hip hop lessons and even longer to get the ballet steps down. HE'S the one who had doubles throughout because he's not a dancer. I thought that was interesting. It's probably just multiple takes streamed together that we're seeing.

That's not true. Yes, the interracial part of the movie was done to attract more movie-goers because of the "controversy" involved. But in reality it's not that serious. My parents are still happily married and it wasn't about skin color. Skin color is not a reason to get involved with someone. I'm multiracial so we've got a bunch of stuff in our history but please don't downgrade it to skin color. Not cool.

This movie would have been great if they had chosen somebody who didnt look like a scare-crow running around the stage.

Well its still better than I could do on stage, seems though there are more aspects of modern dance though than classic ballet here I think.

I know theres more types of dance in it.
But just the parts were she does classical ballet she looks so bad. They should have got someone else. Its obvious the front and behind shots are two different people.

I love the choreography here, and the dancer who does Julia's parts is great... but damn I wish someone had told Julia to shut her mouth during the dance. SO annoying to see her mouth gaping open throughout ninety percent of the dance!
