pigs, cows, sheep, dogs, bitches, rats, chimps, burros, snakes, wolves... I can't think of any other animalistic insults people use to define people right now... Here's a new one: extreme individualists are spiders.

What do you mean by human nature? Do you mean human behaviour? If so, I think it is a fact that human behaviours vary and have varied throughout our cultural history and our evolutionary past.

honestly my discussion of human nature is reactionary to the use of the term, I don't think it's a particularly good term, it implies we are stuck to certain ways more than we are. but insofar as it has a meaning, it is supposed to be, yes, a framework to explain the many social and psychological phenomenon we see... e.g. war, but also art.

yeah... I always found it interesting that pretty much all tribal people have rituals where they dress as and pretend to be animals... it's our "nature" to do that and have the requisite flexibility. I think its relativism.

not sure what you mean by relativism, but primitivism on the other hand, nevermind.. Flexibility of our ability to imitate most anything is i think a strength, yet can be manipulated into a weakness and exploited. IE turning people into droin ants in a colony.
