The cross is an evil thing that is disrespectful and offensive escpecially towards Jesus (the son of God right?) - most christians seem to use it as a symbolic gesture of God's grace to our salvation without realising that makes God look a little bit sick. This is so wrong and it lowers Madonna's image - don't combine currupt religion with something so pure and beautiful. She's on our side (the good side)

i'm not a christian, but i don't have to be to appreciate the beauty of what she creates on the stage. you have a very small-minded interpretation of the cross, which would suggest that you might not be on the 'good' side that you think you are. not even jesus could escape without first giving up his life, and he met a somewhat gruesome end, just as some of us will, yet so few of us will even allow our minds to go there. there is Truth on that cross. don't need to be a christian to see it.

It's only your opinion that i have a small-minded interpretation of the cross. We all know what it was used for so that in itself is enough to cause offense for some people and you need to respect that. We don't need to be reminded of the gruesome end, especially of someone so innocent - it appears to be the pinnicle of injustice. The Truth that lies on that cross is that mankind ought to be ashamed for what we have done. Sometimes we want to evolve beyond all savage reminders of our cruelty.
