FFX is not even and FF GAME. It's an interactive FF movie. FFXII is a better game than FFX. FF better if you want a movie-like experience. Not hating on FFX but FFXII is the better game and FFX better for story IMO.

expirience ever (havent played plasystation 1 games yet) and after all those years ff x touches me when i hear its perfect music or look back at the fuckin awesome storyline and the epic characters & blablabla

You spoke for yourself, man. FFX is the story and music that you love about it. With FFXII I love the gameplay and battle system. That's why I say FFX is better for story while FFXII is better for gameplay. To each his own anyway. FFXII > FFX in my opinion.

what are you saying? Where are the random fights in FFXII?? It's a semi-realtime combat game and not a "turn combat Game" (I don't know if I said in the correct way)
FFXII it's a game too anonymous and without a true storyline, instead FFX has a real story, just like FF II (fantastic), FFIV, FFV (lovely), FFVI (one of the best storyline of the series) and more similar to the FF second generation (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX)

So? FFXIII will be real-time too, does that mean it ain't a true FF? Man, GTFO of here! You're a deluded XII hater. FFXII had the medieval style of FFI to FFV and FFIX. FFX was not even true medieval Fantasy, it was Far Eastern Shinto stuff. FFXII has a very deep story too, it's just that it's not thrown in your face with endless cut-scenes like FFX. If you want a movie, play FFX and love it. I play VIDEO GAMES so FFXII is way better IMO.

This is only your opinion, you can't say it's true. If you don't like FFX, simply don't play it, but don't say that isn't a GAME.
A Fantasy game must have the medieval style? FFX is a great game. Great Graphics, Great Storyline, Great Battle System, Great sound effects and Great Ost make it a Great Game. Sorry for you, but this is the reality.
Ah, and keep on judge games that are still out of commerce, like FFXIII, maybe you're a seer..

Heh, ffX is the best game ever while u looking for good story - i cried with it for 4 times ^^'. FFXII is good for assholles :), that wanna just 'play', just 'gameplay'. I don't even understanted half of dialogues in ffxii ^^', strange voices and words...

but I don't think that FF XII is the worst game or a bad game, I like the FF series, but it's impossible to say that FFX isn't a game or that a bad game :)
however, my favourite game isn't FFX, but FF VIII.. so I think that I'm the spoke in the most indipendent way possible, don't you think?

I didn't like FFX because there's no free-roaming overworld map, the game is extremely linear unlike it's predecessors, and the plot has only like 1 plot twist and it's small. Yes, we learn that Sin is really Jecht, but it's early on in the game so it's not a shock. The only twist is that Yuna doe
sn't summon the final Aeon, but wants to kill Yu Yevon. Same thing. Kill it one way or another. FF7 and FF8 were WAY better (and imo FFX-2, although it took getting used to.)

I also didn't like FFX because there was no EXP value or numeric Level, just the Sphere Grid. Also, the Weapons and Accessories only add status effects or a sort, they don't have their own stats so if you don't care about having a billion slots, then getting the best weapon doesn't matter.

The FFX story isn't too long or difficult, I agree, but meantime is very intense. It's not important if Jecht were Sin or not, It takes the player with intensity and sentimental traits. It's the simplicity its hard point, the same that makes it a Great Game, the best of FF series on Ps2.
For the rest, I'm agree with you, I prefer at long FF7 and FF8 (like I said on a previous comment, this is absolutely my favourite)
