forst of all it is no a "game" it is a 3D platform in it's beginning stages, where you can create your own stuff, people that are not artist do not get this, like people who do no appreciate video do not get you wasting your time on this page. Or perhaps our imagination goes beyond a buggy 3d world with a user interface in need of much improvement. Second life is an interesting idea, but it feels like a broken beta. The sandbox world idea is great, but the current iteration is weak. The technology available allows for a much better product than what currently exists. A better interface, a more intuitive creation mechanism. Second life has a lot of work to do before it's anything but an interesting, but boring experiment.

Pretty much, but there's a lot of freebies around. When logged in to Second Life go to the search option and look for "freebies". There's lots of things you can get for free, and some people will help the newbies out.

With the windlight enhancements, it seems to have pretty decent graphics. Of course, you need to be in areas that use decent textures and nice builds.
