seriously people...nobody cares if YOU can play the same thing, think it's boring, or claim to be better on the snare...fact is, this guy probably never studied rudiments through a high school band class. having formal training on the snare for years and then outperforming someone is meaningless. THIS performance is freelance and done strictly from talent...unlike the ones you robots "claim" you can play

Technicality doesn't always musicality. I don't care if he or any one of you is doing anything technical--is it musical? If something is musical, it has potential to move me. Technical-based stuff doesn't move me. Take it from Danny Carey in his comment about drum clinics being monkey shows, they don't show anything but what you're capable of. If you're not outweighing your capabilities with professional grade musicality, I don't care about your gig.
